As we leave Connellsville today, we’ll enter some of the deeper gorges of the Youghiogheny River and pass through sparsely populated country. We’ll pass by the various rapids of the “lower Yough’” which is a popular rafting area, before we enter the town of Ohiopyle. We’ll stay at the Yough Plaza Motel in town … and prepare for rafting the next day!
